TFR – Soup Kitchen

Following an invitation of Sylvia Austin, member of The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR), plenty of people made their way to Karmi/Karaman where a Soup Kitchen was organized on Monday 11th February from 11.30am until 2pm.

A team from BRT – Bayrak TV- with their well known presenter Engin Dervişağa were also on site.

There was a delicious selection of home-made soups with fresh bread for an entrance donation of 10TL, to support the Karmi Village Cemetery Restoration Project with its proceeds.

A table top sale and a raffle were organized as well, so in the end the amount of 835 TL was raised for necessary restoration works at the Karmi Cemetery.
