Turkish Folk Music

I noticed one of our Turkish Cypriot friends posted on Facebook recently a Youtube link to a really lovely video entitled “Turkish Folk Songs for Istanbul” and we decided to share the experience with our readers.

The images shown are of a boat trip with a traditional melody being played and powerful images in the evening light and people at rest and by the time the boat docks and the passengers depart, a sense of peace and tranquillity has been achieved.
