18th January – Friday	Keith Lloyd will be giving one of his very interesting and entertaining talks about “A History of Winemaking” at St Andrew’s Church Hall starting at 7pm. Supper of Sausage & Mash & Beans will be available with a free glass of wine. Tickets are 20TL per person. Proceeds will go to the Church funds. To book a place contact Win Smith on 0533 847 4104
18th January – Friday	The Olive Press will be holding a Tulips Charity Night for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). 7.30 for 8pm. This will be a night of fun, laughter and brain teasing with a ‘Spot the intro ..’ quiz which will be divided into 5 categories. The event is open to non-members as well as members. There will also be a mini auction on the night. Please pre-book on 0533 880 1196, as there will be a few snacks available and the Olive Press need to know how many to cater for.
19th January – Saturday	7.30pm for 8pm meal at Five Fingers Restaurant, Ozanköy. After dinner speaker will be ex-Chief Superintendent Trevor Sheard on the topic of “Characters, Chaos and Confusion” humorous confidences about his 30-year “stretch”! 30TL which includes 3-course Italian style meal. 21st January – Monday NCCCT	The NCCCT Bingo Night resumes at The Ravine in Alsancak starting at 8pm. The rollover jackpot stands at 1000TL so well worth trying for. A book of 6 cards @ 35TL. 26th January – Saturday	The Black Olive Cafe will be holding a Crash Course Day of Tarot. 10am to 5pm. Price 75TL including lunch and coffee. 26th January – Saturday	The Weakest Link will be held at the Bella View Hotel, Bellapais. There are 9 contestants who will all appear in fancy dress and the evening will be in aid of SPOT. The cost is 45TL per person which includes a meal.

9th February – Saturday	The Anglo Turkish Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting starting at 10am at Club Z, Girne. Members need to have valid membership to be able to vote.
12th February – Tuesday NCCCT	The NCCCT coffee morning will be held at The Rocks Hotel in Girne. Another lovely venue for this event and a treat not to be missed.

20th April 2013 – Saturday	This will be the 3rd Esentepe Fun Run and will be in memory of George Roper who died in 2012 and was the instigator of the original event to raise funds for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). Look out for more information on this website.
