Ozanköy Bookshop

I recently popped iOzankoy Bookshopn to see Barbara Burton at the Ozanköy Bookshop and find out what is happening there at the moment and what plans she has for the rest of the year.

Barbara is in the throes of having a new kitchen fitted which will give a lot more scope for providing light snacks and she is now also able to provide beer and wines along with tea, coffee and cold drinks, so this is lovely for the people who go along for the various craft events and also for those who want to go and browse through the bookshelves or just sit and chat and have a bite to eat.

There are still masses of books to choose from as well as statiBookshelves to browse throughonery items, greetings cards, gifts and craft-making items.

The usual craft classes are running and these are listed below:-

Tuesday afternoons between 4.30 and 6.30 there is the children’s craft class.

Wednesday mornings there is the book club with Dulcie from 10am to 12’ish

Wednesday afternoon you can join the card making class from 2.30 to 4.30

Barbara is also hoping to start a Canasta group in the near future which will probably be on a Friday afternoon and her son Mark is looking at the possibility of a drawing class on a Saturday or Sunday.   For information regarding either of these two proposed new events or for details of any of the regular group events,  contact Barbara on 0533 865 7916.

There is a vast improvement to the Cosy craft areaoutside marquee area and this is now a very cosy addition to the outside area for the various group activities when the weather is not so good.   There is also plenty of off-road parking at the Bookshop.

There are plenty of interests and hobbies which can be followed at the Ozanköy Bookshop and what nicer venue to do this and meet new friends as well as those people you already know.

  1. Hello, I am looking for a street map of Lefkosa/Nikosia of both, the northern part and the southern part. Do you have such a map and if so, how could I purchase it at your bookshop.

    Thank you for your replay

    Best regards,

    Wolfgang Günther,
