Archbishop Chrysostomus – Christmas message
In the time
of goodwill Archbishop Chrysostomus is reported to have given a goodwill message to the people of Cyprus which included calls for renewed efforts to see the end of occupation of North Cyprus and that efforts to reunify Cyprus must not stop.
He was reported to have said when referring to the economic plight of Cyprus, “Ιn these tough times, we are all obliged, to take our share of responsibility.”
Would Archbishop Chrisostomus say the same of the past events that have led to the separation of all Cypriot peoples to this day?
