TFR – Christmas Weekly Get-together
The Foreign Residents in the TRNC have a weekly get-together at the Aeria Bar in Lapta and this week was the last before Christmas so was a special occasion. Unfortunately it was not possible for Chris and I to be there but Ralph Kratzer, the Secretary, has kindly sent some information and photographs and it looks as if we missed out on a very nice event.
This is what Ralph has passed on.
“Last Friday we had a very nice “get together” in the Aeria Bar in Lapta with some of our members who are staying on the island during Christmas and New Year`s days.
Horst was in his element when he was preparing a special mulled wine called “Glögg” (Scandinavian recipe) which was warming us instantly!
In a few days we will be able to present to you our new TFR-website, which is arising at the moment with the great help of our members Chris and Margaret”
What a shame we missed it but being so near to Christmas there is so much to do and very little time left before we start making merry and enjoying the festivities.
