A Night of Soul & Tamla Motown Music at Sunset Beach Bar
What a great evening this was at the Sunset Beach Bar in Lapta. 
The event was in aid of The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services and 150 people turned up on Friday 26th October to enjoy the evening of Soul and Tamla Motown music provided by DJ Mike and DJ Max from BRT.
It was not long before many people were up dancing to the music and during the evening a supper from a choice
of curry, Chinese and vegetarian options was available and once everyone had their fill they were up on the floor dancing again.
Later in the evening the raffle was drawn and the very nice prizes awarded to the lucky winners.

Tyler thanked everyone for attending and later confirmed that 1,665TL had been raised during the evening and this will be going towards the purchase of burns dressings for the TRNC Emergency Services. Thanks go to Vanessa and her friend for helping with the raffle and to Pam for doing the door and last but not least to Max and Mike for their brilliant work on the night.

Thanks also to The Sunset Club which is run by Űn Bitlis and his wife Dilek and is a lovely venue for this type of event. It is decorated in nautical fashion in keeping with its situation right by the sea and there is a large outside area for summer dining with a swimming pool available for customers to use if they wish.
