TATAR: ‘ ALL PROPERTIES ARE UNDER TRNC TITLE DEEDS’

 TRNC Minister of Finance Ersin Tatar pointed out that there mustn’t be any differential between title deeds in TRNC, all the properties are under the title deeds of TRNC. Tatar also underlined that even the 90-95% of the applications to Turkish Cypriot Immovable Property Commission are being solved  by compensation so there is no more emotional tie between the owner and the property.

Minister Tatar, made a statement in the meeting with the authorities of a bank and said ‘Banks must not differentiate the title deeds, as Turkish Cypriot title deeds or property of equivalent value title deeds (the property which has been acquired by any Turkish Cypriot in exchange of property left in South Cyprus) as all the properties are under the title deeds of TRNC. Tatar stated that the mortgage process for equivalent property must be the same.
