Photos from a holiday in North Cyprus, November 1995
Having given you the opportunity to view David Gummer’s photos from November 1995, I thought that it would be only fair that you should be invited to view my own pictures of the same period. These include the sculptures in Karaoğlanoğlu, the first year that Lapta-based Sevket’s Restaurant was in operation and the 1939 Lefkoşa Bandabuliya [closed market]. I realise that these photos may not seem exciting … but … these places have changed so much since then.
