Greeks dispute ownership of land sold by a Turkish Cypriot

TURKISH CYPRIOT LANDS CAUSING PROBLEMS IN SOUTH CYPRUS

Example of Politis

It was reported in the Greek Cypriot Newspaper Politis, that a Turkish Cypriot piece of land which was allotted to a Greek Cypriot from Akantu in Mari was taken back by others because it was sold by its Turkish Cypriot owner.

According to the newspaper, the Turkish Cypriot land has been used by the Greek Cypriot settler since 1978 and he was carrying out agriculture on that land however one day he found bulldozers on his land and when he went to Larnaca Turkish Cypriot Lands Administration Office he was sent to the Police but none of the authorities could solve his problem and it is still unknown how and who will solve this kind of problem.
