Supper Club
Information has been received from Laurence Floyd of the Children in Need Foundation of a fabulous forthcoming event at the Colony Garden in Wednesday 19th September. This is a Supper Club event with entertainment by Diane Shaw a top UK soul singer. Unfortunately, the scheduled event at the Korineum Golf Resort on Tuesday 18th September has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
It is very likely that Diane will be appearing at a venue in Famagusta on th
e Saturday 22nd September and details of this event will follow in due course.
CINF have already received in excess of 60 ticket reservations for the Colony Garden event from members who wish to secure certain tables, so they are pleased to say that in this instance they will take reservations early as there is only to be one event in the Girne area.
There will be a 3 course meal which is inclusive of drinks (as for the American Four Tops / Emperors of Soul), and once again will include key imported spirits.
The price will be £45 or 125 TL per head, and tickets will be available from the Colony Hotel reception from Friday 24th August.
In addition, the Chairman of the RBL here in TRNC, Major Brian Thomas BEM, who is a big supporter of CINF, has booked the Arsenal team coach to go from Karşiyaka at 6.30pm that evening with scheduled stops on the way. Brian and Laurence will co-ordinate coach bookings and pick-ups between them and more details will follow soon.
