The 14th Orchid Walk in aid of KAV (Cancer Research Foundation) will be held on Sunday 5th March covering the route from Kozanköy to Karşiyaka. The walk will start at 10am following registration. There is a 35TL donation for each participant which goes to the KAV Foundation.
This annual event is always very well supported and there is no better sight than to see hundreds of smiling people with their balloons walking for this very important charity.
We have attended the walk as spectators previously and produced an article with a video of the walk in 2013 (see below) from which you can get a feel of the wonderful camaraderie of the people who take part to support the fight against cancer.
