At the meeting were Rasim Karas – Chief Executive Officer, Telsim (Vodafone), Art Watson – Chairman of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble Committee, Ivor Moon -Treasurer and Sue Steel – Committee member.

Mr Karas was highly impressed with the organisation of the event this year and pledged that Telsim would be more involved in 2015 and as such, Mr Watson promised to revisit with Mr Karas, in a few weeks, with the outline and strategy for next year’s event.

Several of the Telsim team are going to attend the final Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 event at Stevie’s Restaurant and Bar on Saturday, 26th April.

Art Watson, Chairman of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 commented: “We are delighted that such a prestigious company as Telsim (Vodafone) has decided to support us, not only this year but in 2015 too. We believe this is a good match and know that the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble cannot help but go from strength to strength with such companies backing us. I see exciting times ahead.

The Telsim (Vodafone) initiative of texting 4171 raised over 800TL but we know it would have been much higher had we started earlier with this.”
