Will the Chinese seek to be residents in North Cyprus

Who will be the next wave of residents heading to North Cyprus

The British by virtue of their historical links with Cyprus have been coming to spend part of their lives here in Cyprus for many years and what a good choice it is.

Sadly because North Cyprus is not part of the EU, we have seen many British expats leave for reasons  of lack of free health service cover or property issues. It’s not all bad news as we have seen many other foreign nationals moving to North Cyprus including in recent times many Russians who are trying hard to become part of the larger community in the TRNC.

So who is next to want to come to the sunny north to live, perhaps it will be the Chinese who are being wooed frantically by South Cyprus.

If conditions are right and the incentives are in place, then many people would want to come to make a home in our Jewel in the Mediterranean.

  1. Thank you for this interesting post Chris! I can definitely predict the growth in the amount of Russians coming to North Cyprus. Which is good and bad at the same time 🙂

    • Hello Dasha, many thanks for your comments and we will wait and see what the future brings.

We should remember that the future can be influenced by individuals or groups working together and sharing knowledge and friendship. Thank you again and do let us have deatils of any events that the Russian community are planning so we can record this under the “Russian Friends” Tab.
